Please review the below options for filing case documents with the Clerk of Superior Court in Pima County.

Case documents are not accepted for filing via email (electronic mail); however, other options are available to electronically file documents in Civil, Family Law, and Criminal benches.

File in paper? Not anymore! Electronically file your documents online! (Filing documents electronically is mandatory for attorneys and legal paraprofessionals.)

By electronically filing (eFiling) your documents, you can

In the Superior Court in Pima county, electronically filing (eFiling) Civil, Criminal, and Family Law case documents may be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with some limitations, exclusions, and exceptions. (eFiling will be available soon in other benches and case types.)

Filing hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm in Civil, Child Support, Probate, and Criminal Services on the first floor of the Pima County Superior Court, 110 W Congress, Tucson, Arizona.

Please make sure your paperwork is filled out completely before meeting with a deputy clerk to file your documents. Deputy clerks do not have any paperwork or forms.

For Civil and Family Law case documents, our Civil and Family Support Services accepts Civil and Family Law case documents and has kiosks to print your customer queue ticket number that will be called to a customer service window, first come, first served.

Documents can be sent via the U.S. Postal Service or a third-party commercial carrier.

Please include original documents, copies, and a self-addressed stamped envelope so that copies can be mailed back to you. A money order or personal or business check made payable to “Clerk of the Court” for all applicable fees must be included with the documents to be filed or include your completed forms to apply for a waiver or deferral of your filing fees. The Clerk's office will conform (copy stamp) the copies that you provide and return them to you in the self-addressed stamped envelope that you provide. For Probate case documents, no more than one conformed copy will be returned to you at no additional cost.

Include the name, address, email address, and phone number of the filing party in the upper left corner of all documents.

The date of filing will be the date the documents are received by the Clerk's Office.

Two depository boxes are available for submitting paper documents at the Pima County Superior Court building (110 W Congress, Tucson, Arizona). One depository box is available any day, any time just outside the glass doors on the east side of the Pima County Superior Court building. Another depository box is available only during office hours inside the Civil lobby, room 131B on the first floor.

Both depository boxes have an optional time stamp machine attached for you to stamp your documents before inserting them into the depository box. Insert the first page of each document in the time stamp machine to apply a date and time stamp, which will be the date and time the document is filed with the court and then insert the document into the depository box. Once you insert your document into a depository box, you will not be able to retrieve it from the depository box. Your document will be retrieved from the depository box by a deputy clerk during office hours.
