Applicants For Protected Addresses
If you are applying for, or considering applying for a "Protected Address", please review the following prior to completing your application form:
- Is your address currently unknown to the other party?
- Do you have reason to believe that physical or emotional harm may result to you or a minor child?
If the answer is yes to both of the above questions, you may request the court to designate your address be protected.
The procedure can be found in the rules of court section of the Supreme Court website and the request and order forms can be found in the online forms section at the Clerk's Office website.
Your initial documents, minus the address, should be submitted with the request and order.
Note: If your request is denied, all future pleadings must include your address.
Note: If the court orders your address protected, do not include your address on any future documents.
** The Clerk's Office is not responsible for monitoring these orders.
